Artist Updates - November 2023

Artist News:

Recently, “They, Too, Are America” photographer Lisa Pavlova endeavored in a collaboration with photographer Kamal Chawla which was featured in the on-line periodical “F-Stop:  A Photography Magazine”.  The work “The Tale of Two Cities” compares and contrasts city living in two of the largest metropolitan areas on the planet.  New York and Delhi.

“Glimpses at the Conservatory” creator John Pemberton had a collection of images selected for the 2023/24 Portfolio Platform at the Midwest Center for Photography.  The collection is drawn from 3 ongoing projects "Glimpses at the Conservatory", "The Stone Faces Project" and "Perspective".  The images will be featured on-line until April 2024.  John also has an image as part of the “Likeness” exhibit that is currently hanging in the MWCP Gallery.

Of course, Charles Wallace continues his work using AI style transfer techniques to bring a different feel for the photography he creates.  A new creation and its source image are included to the right.  His book, Transformations, is available in the F2.8 store.
